Whatever your diplomatic field, simply speaking English well is not enough. In order to operate at the highest diplomatic level, the ability to understand the language, utilize it efficiently, and deliver with confidence is essential.

The University of Ottawa’s Centre for Continuing Education has over 25 years’ experience of training government and international institutions, working with all levels of diplomatic personnel.  Our training centres in Ottawa, and soon in the Middle East, make the Centre your local, national and international training provider for diplomatic English courses.

As a leader in the fields of official languages and bilingualism in Canada, the University of Ottawa’s Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute provides an ideal setting for analysis, research and development designed to serve university communities, as well as public, private, and para-governmental agencies and organizations in the area of language teaching, learning, and planning.
