Part 1- PRINCE2® Foundation Training (3 days)

This workshop gives you the solid basis for being recognized as having completed your PRINCE2 Foundation training and you will obtain the PRINCE2 Foundation certificate without having to take the Foundations exam and therefore you will benefit from a cost savings.

This training will cover the PRINCE2 themes, processes and principles at a Foundation level. Participants will gain a solid understanding of PRINCE2 methods and will be able to both work and fulfill their project roles effectively in a PRINCE2 environment. We’ll do Foundation practice exam questions and dissect the answers to ensure that you understand the concepts and are ready for the Practitioner Training or more involved role in your projects without having to take the Foundations exam.

People who do not have the PMP designation must follow the PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner Certification (or Re-Certification) course.

Part 2-  PRINCE2® Practitioner Training and Exam (2 days)

*Prerequisite: PRINCE2 Foundation certificate

The PRINCE2 Practitioner course is for those who have the Foundation certificate and want to develop the knowledge and ability to effectively apply what they have learned. This workshop prepares you for the PRINCE2 practitioner exam. Our PRINCE2 certified trainer will ensure you will have detailed knowledge of the PRINCE2 methodology and the skills to use it in project management situations. You’ll develop the skills to analyze project circumstances and make decisions using the method. We’ll do Practitioner practice exam questions and dissect the answers to ensure that you understand the concepts and are ready for the exam as well as application in the real world.

As part of this workshop, you’ll write the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam (set by AXELOS and provided by PeopleCert). Upon successfully completing the exam (grade of 50% or more), you’ll obtain the PRINCE2 Practitioner certificate.

Unlike most of the other PRINCE2 training offered in the Ottawa area, this workshop doesn’t require you to do any advanced reading or work. Note, however, that you’ll be required to do evening work on the first day of the course. Our PRINCE2 certified trainer will ensure that everything you need to know is covered during the training sessions.
